The perfect team — a few regular, everyday people with hopes of giving back to the local community.
We give residents a chance to make a real difference in their own neighborhood. Our goal is to support and create unique fundraising and volunteer opportunities to strengthen our community.
Heather Gottlieb, founder & Executive Director
Graduated from George Mason in 2005 with a degree in psychology. I first got involved in charity when one of my students, then only two-years old, was diagnosed with neuroblastoma. I created and led a relay for life team in honor of Lukey who, 6 years later is now cancer free.
Most recently, I have helped my company raise funds for the American Heart Association over the past 3 years. Although this cause is close to me as my grandfather is a heart attack survivor, I wanted to create a nonprofit to which everyone could relate, participate in, and support. One.Love.Loudoun supports all kinds of local causes from animals to clean water to rare diseases.
People often ask how One.Love.Loudoun came to be...you can hear about that and some other fun tidbits about the founder and the organization on this podcast from Ordinary People Doing Extraordinary Things! Huge thanks to Keri Drugan from Emotion Dance and Fitness Studio for this opportunity! Click on the picture to subscribe to this inspiring podcast.
